About Lost Pet Poster

Why it exists

When a dog slips its collar or a cat gets out, the first hours matter most. That is exactly when people end up fighting a design app, hunting for a template, squinting at tiny text and wondering why the phone number came out so small.

Lost Pet Poster does one job: it turns a photo and a few details into a clear poster that people can read from across the street. It should take a minute, not an hour. And it should work on a phone, with one hand, when you are not at your best.

What is free, and how we pay for it

The poster and the flyer are free, with no watermark, no signup and no limit. So are the update banners, the post text and the checklist. That will not change.

We pay for the site with one optional extra: the clean HD version of the Neighbor Alert Pack, the social images sized for Facebook, Nextdoor and Stories. Later we may offer Neighbor Boost, local ads near where your pet was last seen. It is not on sale until we can run it properly. See pricing.

Our photo promise

  • We never change your pet's photo. We only crop it the way you choose.
  • We never print your address.
  • We never sell your photo or your details.

What we are not

We are not a lost pet registry, an alert network or a shelter. We do not keep a list of lost pets and we do not handle rewards or hand-offs. We make the files; you, your neighbors and your local shelters do the finding.

Who runs it

Lost Pet Poster is run by Lost Pet Poster. A real person reads every email at help@lostpetposter.com, usually within a day. The examples on this site use public-domain photos and fictional phone numbers, and every one is marked as a sample.
